Meeting Samantha Balk in Chicago, Illinois!

A few weeks ago, I took the train to Chicago for a portfolio review for school. My best friend Lauren said I could stay with her (on a complete whim... thanks, Lauren!!) and when I wasn't at my portfolio review or having breakfast with Lauren and her friends, I was visiting Samantha Balk. We had become friends after an interview I did with her a couple of months ago and countless hours of instagram stalking. She owns Rose Vintage and has the cute cute cutest apartment! I loved spending time with her and meeting her fiance Donovan and their sheepdog, Otis.... It's so refreshing to meet people who have similar interests as you do, isn't it? Thanks for being so amazing, Samantha! Also, I forgot to mention that I got one hour of sleep the night before I took the train to Chicago.... that is why I look sleep deprived! I was a little loopy!

Valentine's Day: Get your man something unique at Paulie Antiques!

I've been thinking about Valentine's Day a lot, lately.... and I decided to make a new bow tie inspired by Valentine's Day. My friend Benji Frazzetto was kind enough to wear my new Blue Eyed Bow Tie that is now for sale at Paulie Antiques (made to order). I would also LOVE to chat with you about the man in your life and whether or not he'd wear a bow tie! I am very interested to know!
Benji styled his own outfit to coordinate with the bow tie, but I designed and created the bow tie*

The Valentine's Day shipping has begun!

As you might well know, Valentine's Day is upon us. I've already started celebrating by decorating my door and now I'm wrapping orders with pink wrapping paper! I also made a Vine video! I must be going mad...........

(for what it's worth..... I actually kind of like Band of Horses!)

Outfit: Burning Photographs

These adorable shoes are courtesy of Bait Footwear and I adore them so so much. The color is perfect and so is the t-strap. They remind me of the 1970's with the chunky heel, too! They are just my style and very easy to walk in! I definitely recommend them! You should also check out Bait Footwear's website! XO

*the glitter we are blowing is green rock glitter from Hobby Lobby (it's heavier and produces a better effect than the light weight glitter that is usually available!)

Springfield, Missouri Road Trip

This is just a random mash up of amazing places in Springfield, MO my friends and I visited while on our little road trip. We had fun and got to know each other a little more on the way. It was a little chilly out, but that didn't stop us from exploring and having a great time. I love road trips! We stayed in a cute little hotel with a kitchen where we could also make our own meals! Enjoy.......

 Have you been to Springfield, MO? You should really visit.... it's so much fun!
