Thistle Magazine: The Courage Issue Featuring the Paulie Antiques Suitcase Collection

Happy Friday! Today the Courage Issue of Thistle Magazine was released and my suitcase collection is featured on page 51! I wrote a story for the feature about my suitcases and their stories. Traveling is so alluring to me and these suitcases certainly represent that wanderlust. You can download the magazine for FREE here!

Sunday

Paulie Antiques featured in the Taylorville Breeze Courier Newspaper today

I am happy to share this article from the Breeze Courier of my hometown today. It reveals a little more about my childhood and past. My friend Laura Wolfe wrote it and I was happy to do the interview a few days ago. Happy Sunday! What are your plans today?

The Littlest Polly featured in Krigsropet (Salvation Army Magazine)

I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to be featured in Salvation Army's magazine! My copy came in the mail yesterday and I almost forgot what it was because I've been waiting for it for what seems like months now!
Interview translation: "I love vintage, antiques and beautiful colors," says american Paulie Antiques. She has found many exciting clothes in Salvation Army stores. Among others this light brown woolskirt that she paid 4 dollars for. "I bought it because I love the color. It is a very fashionable skirt of high quality, that’s why I like it so much," she says.
The fashion blogger, photographer, fashion/costume designer and fashion stylist publishes many interesting outfits on the webside paulieantiques. She also has her own
antiques store online, Paulie Antiques, at etsy.com/shop/thelittlestpolly.

Paulie Antiques Flower Crown used in Odd Lovin' Vintage Lookbook

Remember the Original Marigold Flower Crown I made for Paulie Antiques this summer? Here's the link to it in the Paulie Antiques shop. It's modeled by my friend, Hannah
This crown was purchased back in September by Odd Lovin' Vintage for their lookbook and they just sent me some photos! It's a really amazing lookbook and it's very interesting to see how we each styled the crown in different ways!
Visit the Odd Lovin' Vintage Lookbook to see the rest of their photos! Their website is also very beautiful. What do you think?

Impulse Magazine Feature & Out-takes by Nathan Adhikari

These are the photos that were not used by Impulse Magazine for my featured spread that was published this Fall. True to nature, Nathan Adhikari took these photos in a small park near his house. It started to rain while we were taking these photos, so we had to run for the car! I also hit myself in the face at the end of the shoot when shaking a tree branch for the petals to fall.... so embarrassing.... but you have to learn to laugh at yourself sometimes :) Below is the actual feature in Impulse Magazine.
Outfit details: vintage silk blouse- Goodwill
wedges- Jeffrey Campbell via Modcloth
belt- Salvation Army
gloves- Dandelion Vintage
bow tie- Paulie Antiques made by me!
hat- vintage, my mother's
