My floral designs for Nick + Dana

Designing the florals for Nick and Dana's wedding was so much fun because they had this awesome conceptual image for me to work from which eventually became the two gold Manzanita trees reaching towards each other with white orchids suspended in their branches. I also manipulated birch wood to cover the clear vases while still being on the eco friendly side (aqua foam-free!)

Paulie Antiques Mother's Day design

 My friend commissioned me to make an arrangement for her lovely mother for Mother's Day and I got so excited! When she requested baby's breath I knew it was going to be a tad challenging with my "style" but I knew I could pull it off in a colorful and eclectic fashion. I can't wait to see the peach Gladiolas bloom because they are so fresh in these photos that you can barely tell they're going to bloom! It was a lot of fun making this arrangement! XO

Dandelion Vintage displays, breakfast + coworker love!

Herro! Yesterday at work was fun! I opened the store and worked until 3 and then my coworker Tracy (who gave me an amazingly lovely floral suitcase) came in to take over my shift and we talked for a while and shared some laughs. I love her to death! So happy I met all the girls who work at Dandelion Vintage- they are so much fun.

I thought I'd doucument out displays before we go and change them once again! I did the one on the very right! I didn't get to take a photo of my styling the second time I did it because it was only up for two days before we changed it again! Our boss has got us styling mannequins like crazy and I love it!

My first day at Dandelion Vintage + new hat!

Hi, there! Yesterday was my very first day working at Dandelion Vintage in downtown Champaign... it was so fun! First, my amazing co-worker Tracy and I helped finish a window display in the front of the store, and I got to dress my very own mannequin!

 It took me a while, though.. I wanted to get it just perfect! I had a different dress on it at first, but it left me stumped for accessories so I swapped it out for this pea green mod number in the middle of the display. See it? :)

Afterwards, I had a couple drinks with Tracy, my co-worker. It was so so much fun to hang out with a new friend! I love the random-ness of life right now!
