Outfit: Orange August

 

I've been obsessed with orange for years, but it really makes it clear that I have an obsession during this photoshoot... I think in retrospect that this could have used orange heels.. I guess that might need to become a mission of mine. Does the perfect pair of orange heels exist? I need help looking.. haha. Anyway.. I am another year older and here's hoping I'm wiser, too! No longer 29 and holding... I am proud to be 31 in all it's glory.

I have passed my first year in ultrasound school which is pretty intense so far.. I just recently passed my SPI physics ultrasound board exam and it was so nerve racking. Most of my time is spent studying but I managed to snap these while on a small break in between semesters. It's been really hot in Chicago lately! 

This necklace and orange earrings are from Wolf and Moon.. my latest obsession! Aren't they incredible?

Happy Birthday, Mom!

Dear Mom,

Thank you for raising me with manners and couth. Thank you for raising me at all. Thank you for making my Halloween costumes and inspiring me to be creative myself. Your kind and sensitive heart has also rubbed off on me and your fashion sense has, too. Not only are you beautiful on the inside.... but your beauty shines through in all places. I love you. Happy Birthday, Dad!!!

 

Yesterday was my Dad's 53rd birthday and we had the best time. I really enjoyed spending time with my parents because they are hilarious and I really don't get to come home that often. I got him two cupcakes with "53" candles and a handmade card.... he really loved it. It feels so nice to give back to those who've given you so much in life. Thank you for everything you've done for me in my life... your kindness and generosity is astounding. I love you, Dad! Happy Birthday!!

My 23rd Birthday

I told my mom that all I wanted for my birthday was for her to make me a cake with my little ponies on top..... she is the best. My dad also helped her make it and texted me while doing so!

They also gifted this beautiful book to me with Audrey Hepburn on the cover.
