Moonrise Kingdom!

If you don't know already.... I am a huge Wes Anderson supporter and I've seen every movie he made. I have big dreams of working with him one day! It was my second time seeing it because when I visited Chicago a couple weeks previously I just had to see it (It wasn't playing in Urbana for at least two more weeks when I saw it... magical!) Anyway... it was wonderful to see it in the Art Theater in downtown Champaign and I really felt like everyone there appreciated it and laughed a lot more than in the commercial theater I went to the first time. I'd love to see it one more time before it stops playing in theaters.... any takers? :)

I absolutely love the dress you are wearing and the color. Very cute dress you have and such a good find. I have not had any luck thrifting lately.

Hi, Ruthy! Well, it was basically a consignment shop! I paid $20 for it! Good luck to you! Thrift like it's your job and you'll find something GOOD!

I wish I had seen it in the cinema more than once! Unfortunately it only lasted here for 2 weeks. I can definitely see you working with Wes Anderson, you have a very similar aesthetic! And I agree with the comment above, you and Boston could have just stepped out of the movie!

I dont know if I would spend another bazillion bucks (is it just me or are theaters getting more and more expensive?)to see it in a theater again but I will definitely watch it when it comes out on dvd. It really is a gem.

I really want to see that movie! Hopefully someday. I think I'm going to go all the way to Nashville to see Your Sister's Sister, and I might just make it a double feature and catch Moonrise Kingdom as well :)

I loved Moonrise Kingdom, I actually just wrote a bit about it in my last post! Both your outfits are too cute, you would fit right in to a Wes Anderson movie. :)

Aww, I want to see that movie so badly, but my little newborn son makes it hard to go to the cinema. Unfortunally. I have to buy it on DVD later on instead.
