NEW BLOG HEADER SIZE

Friday

there's every good reason, to let down your hair..

My good friend and co-worker Tracy saw on my blog that I listed Department of Eagles as one of my favorite bands.. but I never listened to their older music.. then I moved on to other bands. I knew, though, that they had made a huge impact on me. But yesterday, Tracy gave me this album! It seems I've fallen in love with them all over again (a year or two later!) thanks to their older music! Thank you, Tracy!.
This dress was my Great Grandmother Frisina's dress in the 1940's/50's! She will be 99 next month (and I'll be 22!) isn't that astonishing? My wonderful Aunt Kate was kind enough to give it to me after all these years. I really would love to share a photo of her wearing it if she has one!
I just love taking photos at this railroad track.. I've done it about two other times..
 Here....
and here! I love the way it looks at different times of the year!
Tonight Tracy and I are going to the High Dive after we get off work to go see a screamo band.......
love, polly

your great grandmother had fantastic style! i guess it runs in the family. :) i love that you get to wear it now. i inherited my great grandmother's ring because it didn't fit any one else in my family, but pretty much everything else was shipped off to goodwill (oh the horror of losing all that great stuff!).

Didn't your mother ever tell you not to play on the railroad tracks? :-) I love the photos, though!
