This is my friend, Elizabeth. She is a grad student in costume design. She helped design the props in Resident Evil 4. She is from Canada. She's a very sweet girl! Here she is cutting out her fabric for a men's shirt.

This seriously looks amazing, I want everything! I am just drooling with lust for all those pretty clothes :)
that is super cool. i really need to break down and learn how to use a sewing machine. i just do small things right now by hand and it takes forever; when i could be doing bigger things at a faster, more secure, rate.
damn procrastination!
as for the national: well, an ex-boy put cherry tree on a mix disc for me and i've been in love ever since. matt's voice had me at "loose lips sink ships". my favorite song by them is probably slow show, my new fav is definitely conversation 16. i'm so fuckin excited to hear the new album live. you gonna try to catch them on tour?
ahh this seems like an awesome job , costume designer ^^
oh my gosh. love, love, LOVE this post. it's great to see a little behind-the-scenes. I'm in love with those red shoes with the big flowersss!
omg, did they stick you guys in a basement too?? Texas Tech's Costume shop was always in the basement when I was there! We called it "the costume cave". Though, I sort of liked it, because it was like you were in your own little make believe world, away from everything! Reading this makes me miss it!
Wow, so much lovely stuff!
